What is a Smile Makeover?
A smile makeover is a cosmetic dentistry plan designed to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Treatments can range from brightening your smile by whitening your teeth, to improving misalignment issues for a more symmetrical look.
At Gulch Dental Studio, we understand that good dental care is about more than basic function, and that a more beautiful smile can have a huge impact on other areas of your life.
Phases of Treatment
Your treatment plan can involve any number of cosmetic treatments, depending on your goals. When you visit our office for your consultation, your doctor will take the time to listen to your goals and priorities, in addition to making sure we address all your questions and concerns. Because we believe in providing a patient-centered experience where your priorities always come first, you can expect beautiful results and quality care.
Addressing Damage and Gaps in Your Smile
The only permanent restorative option for people with missing teeth, dental implants involve the surgical placement of titanium posts in the jaw. Once securely fused in place, your doctor can place dental crowns or a dental bridge so that you can chew, speak, and smile comfortably and confidently. Traditional dental crowns are designed to fully encase a damaged or compromised tooth. Although crowns are typically used in restorative dentistry, they can also provide cosmetic benefits.
Creating a Brighter Foundation
For your convenience, our office offers Opalescence Go, a take-home whitening kit that can dramatically lighten the shade of your smile. When you and your doctor decide which take-home option is right for you, you will first have plastic trays customized to fit over your teeth. You will also receive a whitening solution to fill the trays and wear these for a prescribed time each day for up to 10 days. Often, patients can experience brighter smiles in as little as three treatments.
The Finishing Touch
Veneers are thin, customized shells cemented to the front teeth to conceal minor flaws, like cracks or chips. This is a good option for people who want a faster, more convenient enhancement than traditional orthodontics can offer. Dental bonding also offers a more affordable alternative to cover and conceal a range of imperfections. For patients who decide they would prefer to straighten crooked teeth, we offer discreet, comfortable treatment in the form of Invisalign® trays.
