Years of severe clenching and grinding had significantly worn down Brian's upper front teeth. He no longer felt confident in his smile and wanted to restore the natural length and shape that had been lost.
We placed eight porcelain veneers to rebuild his smile. Treating only the four front teeth would not have addressed the worn canines, which help guide the bite and protect the front teeth during side to side jaw movements. Restoring all eight teeth allowed us to improve his smile while creating a more balanced and protective bite.
Because bruxism can place tremendous force on teeth and veneers, Brian committed to wearing a custom nightguard to protect his new smile.
